Feedback regarding this new product: "I received my watch and I just love it. I was an electrician for almost 20 years and could not remember Ohm's Law. Now as a Signalman I don't have to worry about it. I have my watch to remind me. I don't know how you came up with the idea but I'm glad you did and Thank You." Remove link wristwatch instructions: If you would like to resize your 141 or 3242 watch on your own, keep the following in mind: 1) Decide how many links you will need to remove to get a good fit. 2.) Do not attempt to remove links marked 1 or 2 on the 3242 watch. 3.) If removing more than one link, remove one from each side of the watch so that the band remains balanced. 4.) Note the arrows on the underside of the watchband and note the holes for the pins on the side of the watchband. 5.) You will need a small driving tool such as a paper clip that will fit inside the hole, and small hammer to tap with. 6.) Tap one pin of the link completely through or out enough that you can pull it all the way out with a pair of needle nose pliers. Tap the second link on the opposite side to release the link (keeping in mind the male and female assembly design of the band.) 7.) Line up the links and replace the pins by gently tapping with your small hammer. (The pin always exits and enters the side of the band that the arrow points to.) 8.) Go to the other side of the band and follow same procedure if additional link removal is necessary. If you do not feel comfortable attempting the link adjustment on your own, any small jeweler should resize for you for about $2-$3. Keep in mind that larger jewelers, such as at the mall, tend to charge more. |
